After graduating high school in Franklin, Kentucky, I started working my way up in the design industry. I met my husband Ron and moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where we married and lived until we moved to a small community outside Nashville called Kingston Springs to raise our family. When our children came along, I knew I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom to raise our children by our standards. We knew we’d sacrifice, but it was one we were willing to make. While raising three boys, I started working in several network marketing organizations and rose to the top 5-10% of more than one company. This allowed me to work my schedule around our boys’ busy schedules. After my first two boys graduated high school, I took part in a Bible study called “Are You Listening to God,” and, after much prayer, I reluctantly got my start in the insurance field, something I NEVER thought I’d do. After taking classes and studying for the state exam, I passed on my first try, and I knew God’s hands were in on that. Once I was licensed and certified to sell, I was introduced to the Medicare market, and I knew I was doing what I was supposed to do in life.

I graduated from Lipscomb University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a minor in Biology. I was accepted into the University of Tennessee Health Science Center to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After deciding not to attend, I shadowed several different professions of interest. I decided to get licensed in life and health insurance and have been working since these to help seniors have an easy and successful transition into their retirement years.
